Race 2
BLUE'S LAST might be the "speed of the speed" as several solid barns face off. It is always difficult to look past the Rini/Gonzalez combo (YES LEE), the tote board should dictate a possible gimmick play with them.
Broke slowly, challenged for the lead wide, leveled off to ran like a herd animal (4th by 4)
Race 3
JODY'S GOLD drops from stakes/alw company but is still actually skipping a condition here for Anthony Rini. #6 BURLEY'S GOLD oozes with back class (2009) retuning from vacation, his soundness has to be a concern, if Bennett's gamble on the Ohio-bred pays off today, he has spotted a gem for spots like this in Cleveland.
Led through the first quarter but was no match for BURLEY'S GOLD when challenged (2nd by 5)
Race 5
POWERSTOWN has faded late in both of his 2012 starts, today he may inherit the lead, giving Jeff Skerrett a chance to ration his speed. COCKADOODLE has recent internal fractions that suggest he can find the winner's circle if his form holds better than the selection's.
Had to work to gain the lead then pulled away, clearly the best today (1st by 2, $5.60)
