Race 2
BERT'S PAL has found new life in Ohio. The good times could continue to roll this afternoon. He has defeated chief rival, SAL'S GOLD, twice this spring. Today's turnback won't hurt his chances. Dueled along the rail throughout, gave in grudingly, faded at the wire (3rd by 1)
Race 3
CHIQUITA PICOSA will be most punters' play here for the red hot Sandra Adkins barn Pressed the leader for a half, took the lead, tired (3rd by 4)
Race 6
YOU BETTER BELIEVE welcomes Luis Gonzalez back into his saddle to see if they can weather a late rush from ITS BINALONG TIME Loose on the lead into the stretch, pulled up when alerted by the out rider that an ambulance was aiding a fallen jock just past the finish line - the race was declared no contest
Race 7
NAKAGAWA gets a second chance to steal from me here. Although disappointing 19May, she did find her best stride late. Possibly loose on the lead today, PYRITEVILLE, was "well used" late in her test against better on the same day. Pressed the leader into the turn, glided by to win easily, but was tired at the wire ($5.80)
