Friday

Race 3
DIAMOND LAD might wake up today if he sees JODY'S POWER and DRUMMOND ISLAND flaming out in front of him
Allowed the expected speed to clear, cut the corner smartly to grab the lead from the duelers only to be nipped at the wire by a long shot roaring down the middle of the track. A very tough beat (2nd by a head)

Race 4
RA RA RAQUEL has been signaling Rod Madrigal that it is time for this cutback, as always, she'll be the one to catch and shouldn't get much of a battle for the lead today
Discouraged early challengers, then had it all his way (1st by 3, $3.40)

Race  5
TSUNAAMI STU and teammate, MISSISSIPPI MONEY, ship north for Mike Rone to make up 40% of this field; Albin Jimenez who rode them both the last time guides "STU" today, I'll lean that way
Unhurried along the rail, he picked the wrong day (speedy track) to lose contact with the field (3rd by 20)

Race 6
CHICKENONACHAIN although coming out of his maiden victory faces Ohio-breds for the first, the De La Cruz/Kasmerski combo was white hot on Monday, the Bris figs are competitive and his name is fun to say - what's not too like?
Couldn't beat the winner out of the gate, so he threw in the towel (last by 20 at least)

Race 7
BEN'S BULLET returns to his home turf at a distance he enjoys
Five wide around the turn, he entered the stretch in perfect striking position, tired (DH 4th by 5)

Race 8 - Cleveland Gold Cup
DIAVOLETTO appears to be the reason that Rone/Jimenez came north, put a check mark by him and possibly re-think race #5
On top at the head of the stretch, he tired badly (5th or 6th by 10) ending a miserable day for this punter
